A private, in-person journey to understand your pelvic floor, connect with your changing body and baby, and prepare for birth with greater awareness and confidence.
Boom, you're pregnant!
Chances are, you've heard that prenatal yoga can help you prepare for labour and delivery. Perhaps you've been advised to stay active and move and found everyone recommends yoga.
I've been there, too.
In fact, I was so keen to prepare for my own pregnancy that I trained in prenatal yoga because of this. I then went on to teach prenatal yoga in various places, and to experience pregnancies myself, first hand.
Over the years, I've seen how beautiful group prenatal classes can be. They offer a sanctuary to move, unwind, meet other expectant mothers and feel less alone.
But when I began thinking about returning to prenatal teaching, there is one element in group classes that I found myself cannot always offer: the space to focus entirely on you.
Your body, your questions, your hopes and your fears.
Because no two pregnancies are the same. And preparing for birth isn't simply about learning a sequence of poses or being told what you should do just as everyone in the class.
Note: prenatal yoga is a supportive, complementary movement and spiritual practice and cannot guarantee a particular birth outcome. Suitability varies according to individual circumstances, maternal health and pregnancy progression. Please follow the guidance of your healthcare team and adapt or discontinue any practice that causes discomfort or concern. Participants will be required to sign a mandatory waiver prior to the class.
When you sign up for my 1:1 Sacred Beginnings prenatal yoga sessions, you'll receive a 20-page prenatal guidance booklet and two pre-recorded prenatal yoga classes to support you at your own pace.
